Undyed Coated Vicryl 6-0 P-3 18" Suture is a sterile, absorbable surgical suture designed for soft tissue approximation and ligation. Constructed from polyglactin 910, this braided suture offers excellent handling characteristics combined with predictable absorption. The undyed coating enhances visibility without the use of pigments, making it suitable for delicate tissue applications. 

The P-3 needle is a precision reverse cutting type, which allows for smooth penetration and reduced tissue trauma. This needle design facilitates secure knot tying and reliable knot security on the first throw, optimizing surgical efficiency. The 18-inch suture length provides adequate material for multiple suturing needs within a single procedure, reducing the need for frequent instrument changes.

This suture retains approximately 50% of its tensile strength after three weeks, providing sufficient wound support during the critical early phase of tissue healing. Complete absorption occurs within 56 to 76 days through hydrolysis, eliminating the requirement for suture removal and reducing long-term tissue irritation.
